Bogota.........

Well I haven't gotten to shoot alot of photos down here yet just a couple hear and there. It has been a bit of a mad house the last couple of days with my parents friends taking off for the summer. But should start producung some master pieces here begining tomarrow.

Anyways, Bogota is a amazingly beautiful Huge City (Over 9.5 Millon People) that is going to be hard to explore just a little corner of. Good Food, Good People and some rictor times. Until next time..........!

Pelagic Manta at the Pipe......

So I spotted a Pelagic Manta Ray today at Keahole Point and it apparently has not been ID'd before. Which means that I get the honors of naming the Manta for Manta Pacific Research Foundation. Pretty stoked but not as stoked as I was when I first caught glimpse of this beautiful creature. Its wing span was over 18 feet and had two good sized remoras on its back. I think she was as curious about me as I was about her. I was able to swim right up and cruise along side her for about a minute or so, until I was huffing and puffing so much there was just no possible way to keep up any longer. This was a much needed dive.

From the sky falls acid rain and the very air we breath is poison....

I casually strolled off of the road. The fog was beginning to overtake everything in view giving me a strange feeling that my surroundings were adapting much quicker than I. The moss had seemed to consume all that was in site; these parts had not seen the light of day in many years. Wherever something had died, life had taken its place with little effort. But even though many things seemed to flourish here, there was an unmistakable gloominess all around.

I dont really know what my deal was this last session up to North Kohala. But I had in my head that I came away with some really sick shots but ended come away with jack shit, save the two above (and the horsey one is pretty generic....). I seriously feel borderline retarded when I look at the shots from yesterday and keep asking myself, how could you fuck up three hundred shots this bad. The answer is who knows.....

So these bi-weekly+ little photo session safaris are pretty much some good times. It's pretty rad having an excuse to just drive to some distant part of the island or mob around in my back yard. Keeps those gears rolling...........Anyways, America.......Fuck Yeah!!!!
