Well we are now living in Obamanation. My Israeli predictions are turning out to be pretty right on (lets see how far they take it in the next few). I finally am a working man and it is not that sweet but that's OK.

I rescued an old timer yesterday when I was diving on big island divers boat; We get flagged down by this guy on an outrigger canoe that once we approach him he yells of that he has found a body in the water. I'm thinking at the moment that its a dead body but it turns out not to be the case. The adrift person is a 70ish year old little japanese man whose inflatable kayak has deflated on him about one and a half miles of shore and has was predicted to had been treading water for an hour of so before being found by the paddler. He was extremely exhausted and beginning stages of hypothermia were setting in. The guy was totally incoherant and really weak so I jumped into the water and pulled him back to are boat to be lifted out and warmed up. We called an ambulance and cruised to the Kailua Pier so he could be taken to the hospital. Apparently he called Big Island Divers today and said he didn't remember being found by the paddler and only remembered bits and pieces of being on the boat. Crazy day if I might say...........
